The Morrison, The Myth, The Model

Over the holiday weekend I had a chance to see my good friend Heidi Stockwell-Meaney as she held the grand opening of the model home at The Morrison in Palm Springs.

Until now, Heidi had been conducting sales from her office on Tahquitz. While there was a display kitchen, a mock-up of the bathroom suite and various flooring samples to view in her sales studio, everyone (myself included) anxiously awaited the opening of the model home.

I knew it was going to be an amazing event when I saw dozens of cars parked up and down Ave Caballeros. The Morrison (found behind decorative gates) was teeming with excitement.

When I made my way into the elegantly decorated model, it was filled with excited buyers! Some of whom had already purchased a unit long before the first wall went up and others who were easily convinced once they had walked through the door that day. It was like Bloomingdales in late December, everyone abuzz with the possibilities of what they would do with their new homes.

Interestingly, with the numerous upgrades already included in the purchase price, I overheard buyers saying that they could now afford to customize the pool (which is also included in the sales price) with various luxuries such as fountains and tanning shelves. Some lots in the development allow for a front or back-loaded pool providing two outdoor entertaining areas.

The Morrison provides four unique floor plans based on the same core concepts: a high-ceiling great room which provides more than enough room for entertaining, large sliding glass doors that blur the line between indoor and outdoor living, a downstairs bedroom & bath, completed with two additional bedrooms (each with their own bathroom suite) upstairs. My favorite still remains Plan 4. Which do you like best?

The expansive mountain views are available from numerous locations within The Morrison. But with only 53 homes (and almost a third already spoken for) secure yours today to maximize your choice of views! It isn’t often we see this level of quality and upgrades at an affordable price point. When will you call The Morrison home?
